◇ APPEARANCE ◇
Standing at about 5'5", Lily Evans is an attractive witch with long, dark red hair that stops just a little after her shoulder, and bright green almond eyes. Her eyes are the most noticeable feature- even if you meet her once, you're sure to remember them. She can be seen wearing both muggle and wizarding clothing, depending on the occasion.
For wizarding clothing, she sticks with the "pure" sort of colors, like a creamy purple or something to that effect. As for muggle outfits, she will wear dresses or pants, but the modest kind- never something that shows too much skin. No matter what she wears, she will always have her wand on her.
◇ PERSONALITY ◇
Lily is your typical bright, witty, kind and stubborn girl. She is excellent with school work, but her specialties are charms and potions- so she almost always knows what she is talking about. She will befriend any sort of person and, even if they do something wrong, she will not abandon them, but instead try to help them do what is right.
It also takes a lot to get Lily Evans off your back. She will not give up without a fight, becoming that annoying little fly in your ear that you keep waving away and always comes back. In other words, she fights for what she believes in. Lily has characteristics of a Hufflepuff as well, including loyalty. She holds her friends close to her and will always make up excuses for them if need be. But cross her the wrong way and she will drop you so fast you will not be sure what hit you.
Lily is the type that will jinx you if you dare hurt any of her friends, but she will still give you a chance before she resorts to this (example being that she kept warning James to let Severus down, and even when she pulled out her wand, she was sure to warn him first. Had he not put Severus down, things might have gotten ugly). But, like a true Gryffindor, Lily is exceptionally brave and has a lot of courage. She is not afraid to stand up to jokesters like James and Sirius, even dark lords, and doesn't think about how things might end- she just goes with the flow. Even if she knows she might die, she will still protect people close to her if it means saving them.
Over all, she is a strong girl, though she does have her moments when she cannot hide her emotions. She's only human, after all.
◇ ABILITIES/STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES ◇
abilities/strengths; Her muggle knowledge is a big strength, especially in Template. She will not be so clueless to certain things, and she will be able to help out the people from her world that are clueless to this sort of thing. Like all wizards/witches her age, Lily can apparate. She has the licenses and everything needed to do this legally. Which means that with a loud crack, she can go from one place to another, and of course, she will not be allowed to leave the city. Lily is great with charms work and excellent at potions- over all, very intelligent.
She can also cast the complicated patronus spell meant to ward of chilling creatures known as dementors. It takes on the form of a Doe, the female version of James' patronus.
weaknesses; Her bravery and courage can get the best of her, meaning she doesn't think when she acts. She is just focused on making sure that people are safe. Her stubbornness, too, is something that could possibly get her killed, because no matter the danger, Lily will never back down. Finally, just because Lily has magic on her side doesn't mean she is immortal. She likely is not good in a fist fight, and might even be considered "weak". She is completely human, and will not regenerate if someone shoots her.
◇ HISTORY ◇
Lily was born into a muggle (non magic folk) family, and at a young age, she started to show signs of magic. Her parents told her never to use it, but she was too curious for her own good and did it anyway, always ignoring her envious sister who tried to stop her. By the time she was ten, she met a boy the same age as her; Severus Snape. This boy told her that she was a witch. At first, Lily could not exactly believe it, and her sister laughed at Severus before they both left him on the playground. However, Lily began talking to Severus and they got to know one another, and soon she even believed him about being a witch, as well as what he told her regarding Hogwarts and the magical world.
When Lily got her acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her sister had sent a letter to the headmaster, begging for him to allow her to attend. Severus saw the envelope with the headmaster's reply in Petunia's room. Severus commented on how muggles should not be able to contact the wizarding world and they read it, learning that the headmaster rejected Petunia, but did it with a very kind letter. Before Lily got on the train to head to Hogwarts, she tried to tell her sister that she would talk to Dumbledore, to see if he would let Petunia come- but at this point Petunia refused, claiming she did not want to go. It was here that Petunia called her own sister a freak and their relationship fell apart.
On the train, Lily sat with Severus and here they met Sirius and James. They hadn't gotten off on the right foot, and after Sirius had been rude to Severus, Lily dragged her friend away, where they would find another place to sit. When they got to the castle the sorting took place for first years. Lily was placed into Gryffindor while her friend was sorted into Slytherin. However, they did not let this stop their friendship. They were best friends, after all.
Every time something happened, or her friends would question why she was friends with someone such as Severus, Lily would make up an excuse. She was always there to defend him- but in their fifth year, everything went downhill. James and Sirius thought it would be funny to pick on Severus by using the Levicorpus jinx, which dangles a person upside down. Lily had ran to Severus' side and tried to get James to stop picking on him, but it seemed the only way James would stop was if Lily would go out with him, which she of course refused. James didn't release Severus until Lily pulled out her own wand.
Instead of thanking his best friend, he told her "I don't need help from a mudblood". That had been the last straw; Lily told him that she would never help him ever again and she walked away, calling Severus "Snivellus", a nickname James and Sirius had given him in his first year. That night, Severus went to go apologize but Lily refused it. This ended their friendship. She did not want to be involved with a person who was going to run off and join Voldemort's side. He made his choice and Lily made hers. In her seventh year, Lily became head girl and James became Head boy. The two managed to fix up their relationship, and soon after they started dating, even continuing the relationship once they graduated. She also remained friends with Remus Lupin, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew, and joined the Order of the Phoenix.
After a gathering involving James and his little friends, they all Apparated away from the picnic site. However, Lily found herself in a church.
